The Chanel Quadra Eye Shadow Quad in Regard Perle Will Shine a Light on Your Eyes - Makeup and Beauty Blog

Every girl remembers her first…Chanel eyeshadow quad. 🙂

Mine was Garden Party. Ah, Garden Party… But saying the name brings dorsum memories (and a warm, fuzzy feeling) of the first time I laid eyes on that mix of light-green, peach and pinkish.

I notwithstanding love that quad and so much that it'south the first thing I thought of when I saw promo pics of the new Chanel Quadra Eye Shadow quad in Regard Perle ($56). I was kindasorta hoping Perle would look more than like it in person.

It's not a Garden Political party gull, merely I remember information technology'due south very pretty in its own right, particularly if you accept a matter for glowy pare.

Each of its four soft powder shadows smooth with a mirror-similar finish that lights upward eyelids when when they're applied. Chanel channeled pearls this season — or rather the fashion skin glows when you're wearing pearls — and here they got it spot on. The chai latte I had last dark right before dinner screwed with my sleep, and it was evident all over my confront this forenoon. But a few swipes of Regard Perle today, and my eyes looked visibly brighter and more awake.

Ladies who kneel at the altar of the glitter gods may desire to take a expect at the shimmery grayish green and peach shades on the quad's left. Both of them burst with the cutest flecks of argent micro glitter. Exist prepared, though, to deal with serious fallout from both of them. They're kinda powdery and don't adhere to my skin too every bit the other two colors in the quad, then that might exist something to go on in listen.

The lite beige and salmon pink on the right are the more pigmented of the four. Speaking of that, the biscuit in the lower correct really surprised me. Kitties tin can brand a divergence

Tabs may be a spotlight squealer, but today he couldn't expect to share it with 2 very special kitties named Chloe (on the left) and Colby (on the right).

They alive with reader AmyVA, who you may know from the comments on the blog. Amy won the concluding Sundays with Tabs caption contest for her caption, "Sometimes, I like to practise my ninja moves on the deck, so the wild turkeys can witness my prowess."

Being the cool cats that they are, Chloe and Colby convinced Amy to donate her prize money to the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA, which is the same no-kill rescue shelter where Amy found them years ago. 🙂

Tabs and I think that's very cool and desire to send mad props to Amy, Chloe and Colby for their generosity. Way to go, guys!
